When a new CEO set forth a bold vision to transform this American Multinational Energy Company into “the most digitally capable global energy company,” the organization needed to rapidly build digital capabilities across its global workforce. The challenge was to accelerate digital transformation while creating an experience that fostered a future way of working.
The American Multinational Energy Company partnered with Trivie to transform the organization into a digital innovation leader. Trivie served as a blended and social learning approach, incorporating learning and retention into the flow of work. Launching in less than one week, Trivie’s mobile first approach engaged employees through push notification and emails that directed them into a digital learning course and a brief assessment with Trivie.
Employees were then prompted to research the topics they learned about and share findings via Trivie’s discussion boards. Trivie’s adaptive learning and spaced repetition capabilities led to continuous knowledge gain, ensuring the digital transformation’s success. The launch of Trivie happened to coincide with the more to remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This turned Trivie’s social learning capabilities into a virtual water-cooler, providing a valuable digital community for ongoing learning outside of the office.
