Read MoreTrivie delivered meaningful operational impact by transforming how safety knowledge is reinforced and managed across ride operations at a Magical Southern California theme park. Trivie’s platform minimized the need for time-consuming in-person training sessions and integrated seamlessly into team members’ daily routines with a hand’s off approach—enabling continuous learning, closing knowledge gaps, and reinforcing safety without disrupting operations.
The Magical Southern California theme park’s commitment to safety is captured in one of its core visions: “No One Gets Hurt.” However, with a large, dynamic workforce and complex attraction environments, reinforcing this vision across ride operations was a growing challenge. Traditional safety training approaches required extensive time, hands-on sessions, and manual follow-up, with limited visibility into the knowledge gaps and what team members truly retained.
The theme park needed a scalable, measurable, and non-disruptive way to reinforce safety knowledge. Especially for high-risk tasks like basic rigging, fall protection, and attraction readiness without pulling team members off shifts or increasing operational costs.
The Magical SoCal theme park launched Trivie’s adaptive microlearning platform as a strategic solution to strengthen safety training across eight essential areas at the park, including Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Basic Rigging, Attraction Safety Readiness, Electrical Safety, and others. The goal was to enhance learning retention of critical safety practices, especially in areas that had historically proven challenging.
The approach centered on leveraging Trivie’s core platform features such as bite-sized, spaced-repetition learning, and real-time knowledge gap identification to deliver personalized, ongoing reinforcement that seamlessly fits into team members’ daily operations, while reducing the reliance on instructor-led training sessions. The program also supported new hire onboarding and guest experience readiness by providing consistent ride operations training touch points from day one.
